Aval jaggery recipe, poha jaggery, sweet poha
Aval jaggery recipe, poha jaggery, sweet poha. A simple, easy and delightful snack made with aval/poha and jaggery.
My mom makes aval jaggery during the festival Krishna Jayanthi. Aval jaggery is very easy and simple to make. It basically needs only 3 ingredients: aval/poha, coconut and jaggery. Adding cashew nuts is optional. I would like to add cashew nuts because it give a crunchy feeling when you eat this aval jaggery. Make sure you do not add more water or jaggery to the aval as it would become soggy.
If you like coconut, then you can also add more coconut. It would add more flavor to aval jaggery. At the time of serving, you can even drizzle few drops of ghee.
