I make a lot of bread recipes, and this time I thought I should post this bread besan toast in my blog. It is very easy to make and our kids will love it. For Sanvi, it is a perfect tea time snack. Try this recipe out and you’ll love it.
Bread – 3 nos.
For the Batter
Besan Flour – 1/2 cup
Onions (Finely Chopped) – 1/2 no.
Coriander Leaves (Chopped) – 1 tablespoon
Green Chilli (Chopped) – 1 no.
Chilli Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Water – as required
Oil/Ghee – to toast
Note. The ingredients shown will vary with the original quantity.
1. In a mixing bowl, add besan flour, onions, coriander leaves, green chilli, chilli powder, and salt. Mix well and then add water little by little to form a thin batter.
2. Cut each bread pieces into half diagonally.Heat the pan and drizzle oil or ghee. Now dip each bread piece into the batter. 3. On a hot pan, toast the bread on both sides till light brown. Switch off.
Now, Bread Besan Toast is ready! Serve warm with tea.
