Cauliflower Soup Recipe – An easy, tasty and creamy cauliflower soup made with cauliflower and toasted spices.
I have been wanting to post this Cauliflower Soup recipe for a long time, but for some reason it was getting delayed. My family loves this Cauliflower Soup so much.
I make this soup often during winter. Whenever I have cold and cough, I will make this tasty cauliflower soup or Cabbage Soup. It just soothes my throat. I had cold last week, so made the soup and took pictures to post it here.

Cauliflower (Washed, Cleaned, Cubed) – 1 small floret.
Onion (Chopped) – 1 No.
Cinnamon/Lavangam – 2 Nos.
Peppercorns/Milagu – 4 Nos.
Butter – 1 table spoon
All Purpose Flour/Maida – 1/2 tablespoon
Milk – 1 Cup
Pepper Powder – as desired
Salt – as desired
1. Boil onion, cauliflower, cinnamon and peppercorns well in two cups of water. Switch off. When it has cooled down completely, transfer it to a blender.
2. Grind it to a fine paste and set aside.
3. Heat butter in a pan, and add all purpose flour and saute well. Now add milk and stir well.
4. Add the cauliflower paste and 1/2 to 1 cup of water and boil well for five minutes. Finally, add salt and pepper powder. Stir well and switch off.
Now, Cauliflower Soup is ready! Serve this soup with breadsticks.
