Beginners, if you are looking for some basic spice powder recipe similar to Cumin Powder recipe, then you might refer the following:

Preparation Time. 2 minutes

1. In medium flame, heat a pan and add cumin seeds. Roast the cumin seeds until it turns aromatic and light brown color. Keep stirring otherwise cumin seeds will get burnt easily and then taste bitter. Set aside and let it cool down completely.
2. Transfer the cumin seeds to a blender and grind smoothly or coarsely depending on how you want. Again let it cool down completely and then transfer it to an airtight container.
Now, Cumin Powder is ready!
