Any greens – 1 bunch

Green chilli (slitted) – 1
Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
Note. The ingredients shown will vary with the original quantity.
Wash the greens well and chop it. Boil greens along with green chilli, garlic, and a pinch of salt in slow flame. You need not add water at all. When greens is cooked, mash it finely with a spoon or just grind it coarsely in a blender.
Now, keerai masiyal is ready! Serve with rice and poriyal.
