During my childhood days, I was never fond of any other podis except idli milagai podi. During my days in hostel, I slowly started liking karuvepillai podi. After my marriage, I started liking kollu podi mainly because of it goodness.
In my pantry, I always have these flavorful podis at home. Gj and myself would eat a teaspoon of kollu podi everyday just like eating a medicine. Not all medicines taste so good, but this this podi tastes delicious.
If you are interested in trying out my other version of kollu podi with dal, then you might refer kollu podi/horsegram powder (dal). This kollu podi also goes well with rice, idli and dosa.
