Salted lassi is a popular yogurt drink throughout the Indian subcontinent. Lassi has several flavors and could be made with a variety of fruits. Lassi is utterly delicious, creamy and refreshing.
If you ask any beverage lovers, what drink they would prefer during the summer. Their answer would be lassi. You can find lassi in almost all the restaurants in India.
Lassi could be either sweet or salty. This year, I wanted to post salted lassi. It needs very few basic ingredients that are always at home. You can add tons of ice to make it refreshing or just omit it like how I did.
To cut back on calories, you can use non-fat yogurt or 2% fat yogurt. Anyways, lassi would taste great. Make sure you don’t add too much of water, as lassi would lose its flavor.
