Sambaram recipe is a light and refreshing drink of Kerala. Sambaram recipe is very similar to Neer Moru or Masala Chaas. In Kerala, they call it as Sambaram, and in North India, they call it as Masala Chaas. All the recipes are almost the same except for few changes.
I have heard the name ‘Sambaram’ often from my mallu friends. Little did I know that Sambaram is almost the same as our Neer Moru. In North India, they even add mint leaves to the masala chaas and make Mint Masala Chaas.
I love buttermilk recipes in any forms. I make it often for Gj when he comes home for lunch.
I wanted to post this recipe long back at the time of Vishu, but could not do it. So now I thought I should post this Sambaram recipe at least before the Onam festival. I am happy that I succeeded.
What a blessing it is to drink this Sambaram on a sunny day! Enjoy the summer with this refreshing drink.
