Vanilla yoghurt recipe, homemade vanilla yoghurt recipe
Sometimes, when we buy vanilla yoghurt at stores, it would taste sour or tart. Last week, when I bought vanilla flavored yoghurt from store, it tasted too sour and I could not have more than 2 scoops. That is when I thought I should make vanilla yoghurt at home. Also store-bought yoghurt would have heaps of sugar in it.
I wanted a yoghurt flavored with vanilla and less sugar. When I looked for the recipe, I came up with this recipe. Instead of salted lassi or sweet lassi, you can even try this vanilla yoghurt and beat the heat.

Serves. 2 cups
Greek yoghurt – 2 cups/16-ounces
Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
Sugar or honey – 2 tablespoon
Note. The ingredients shown will vary with the original quantity.
Boil milk in medium flame and then switch off. When the milk turns lukewarm, add vanilla extract and sugar dissolved in water. Then add the yoghurt starter and stir well. Cover it and keep it in a warm place until the yoghurt is set.
