Okra fry recipe, bhindi fry, vendaikkai fry. A simple and easy stir fry made with okra or bhindi and simple seasonings.
Heat oil in a pan, and let the mustard seeds splutter. Then add curry leaves and chopped onion. Once onions turn transparent, add the chopped okra. Cook for 5 minutes while stirring in between.
Once okra is cooked, add chilli powder and salt. Mix well, reduce the flame and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Simmer the flame and finally add the grated coconut. Cook for a minute and then switch off. Now, okra fry is ready! Serve it with curd rice or sambar.
