Oats Murungai keerai adai recipe. A healthy, easy and satisfying breakfast made with oats and drumstick leaves.
Soak dals in water for at least 1 hour. Grind the soaked dal along with ginger, chillies, and fennel seeds coarsely. Then add dal and grind again coarsely.
In a large mixing bowl, add oats, drumstick leaves, onion, ground dal, coriander leaves, salt, asafoetida. Stir well and add enough water to make it a thick batter.
Grease the pan with few drops of oil. Take a ladle full of batter and spread the batter to form a thick adai. Cook covered and when one side turns golden brown, flip it over and cook the other side until it turns golden brown. Repeat the same for the remaining batter.
Now, oats murungai keerai adai is ready! Serve hot withsambar or chutney.
