  • 1 ripe mango chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 7 nos cashew nuts roughly chopped
  • 1 pinch cardamom powder, elaichi
  • 1 tsp ghee


  1. Peel the mango and cut it into small pieces. Transfer to a blender and grind it smoothly.

  2. In a thick bottomed pan, heat ghee and add the mango puree and cook for a minute. Now add sugar.

  3. Cook until mango mixture thickens. Then lower the flame and add milk. Stir well and cook for 3 more minutes. Do not cook on high flame as the milk will curdle.

  4. In a tadka pan, heat ghee and fry cashew nuts until golden brown. Set aside.

  5. Add cardamom powder and roasted cashew nuts. Give a quick stir and switch off. Now, mango kheer is ready! Serve chill!
