Lemon aval upma recipe, lemon poha. A quick and tasty dish made with few ingredients like poha or aval and mild spices.
Soak aval in water for just 3 minutes. Soak channa dal in water for about 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan and let the mustard seeds splutter. Then add urad dal, channa dal, turmeric powder, green chillies, asafoetida, and curry leaves. Mix well.
Add soaked aval and stir gently so that aval gets mixed with the seasoning. Finally, add lemon juice and switch off.
Roast peanuts in a teaspoon of oil until golden brown and then add it to lemon aval. Give a quick stir.
Now, lemon aval is ready!
